A non-profit corporation using simple remedies as effective agents in the restoration of health.  As guests adopt a healthy lifestyle they see evidence that God’s plan works. Cause and effect, prevention and cure, and other “catchphrases” take on new meaning as mental and physical health are restored.  Moreover, our guests receive the unexpected blessing of peace of mind and spiritual renewal.

We are located in rural southern Tennessee on 240 acres of rolling hills, forests, fields, and streams. The beauty of nature and abundant wildlife provide a natural setting for physical and mental recovery. Far from the distractions of the city, in the midst of tranquil surroundings, one finds a perfect setting for a lifestyle change. The sights and sounds of country living and simple remedies are employed as effective agents in the restoration of health. In this setting guests quickly see improvement.

Butler Creek has been established to encourage individuals to give the gospel call through sound Bible teaching, health ministry, and practical living. This includes simple instruction in the principles and skills of self-support. Gardening, healthful food preparation and preservation, and other practical skills keep the focus on more than just intellectual attainments.

We believe that, “Medical missionary work is the pioneer work of the gospel. In the ministry of the word and in the medical missionary work the gospel is to be preached and practiced.” MH p. 144.
